Meh.

Enjoyable.

Have given up on this one for now. It's not great. Too many extraneous sentences and commas. Not rooting for the main couple. Don't really even like them. I spent too long struggling to read this one. It made me forget how I usually fly through a book when I love it. Sorely disappointed. Daunting writing style bored me to tears.

I am having a difficult time finishing this one. Not only is it excessively slow-burn (I'm nearly 75% in and still nothing), but there is nothing I've read that makes me believe Trisha and DJ shil couple. Sonali Dev's writing is medicine and redundant. Her book requires extensive editing to slash the long and needless sentences. So many similes and metaphors! Her doesn't show; she tells and tells and tells.

OMG, all the comma splices! If I was not reading a borrowed copy, I would be correcting all the grammar mistakes with a pen!

Reading through the book quickly. But disappointed thus far. Nothing is really happening.

Surprise, surprise. I'm enjoying a Braswell book. I actually like the inclusion of the twins in reality - adds a sense of fan fiction, which is good, because if Disney made this movie I'd hate it. Braswell always adds in too much unnecessary characters and plots: like Bathory and all the paganism.

One day: 1/3 read. Even though I HATE Braswell's contributions to this series, and her writing is still subpar ( she used "demandy" as an adjective [twice!] and the phrase "got sparkly" *shudder*), this is my favorite of her Twisted Tales. I feel she is staying true to Rapunzel's character, while also fleshing out the fact that she has zero understanding of the outside world. I love the real world with the twins.

Where has this book been all my life?
