The atrocities in Gaza are beyond imagining - a reflection of the worst of our humanity, and a damning reflection on Israel. I will never presume to understand the history and nuance of this conflict, but I don’t need to, to call out the evil of a new holocaust. How can a people once victimised in this way turn around perpetrate this hate onto another people? If God is in his heaven, he is broken and ashamed.

This reads like a history of complexity science through one particular institute and a handful of old white male scientists, claiming origins for the field. The field has moved on and expanded dramatically, limiting the texts relevance and application. Slow going.
