Today I learned about the prosperity gospel, and how it is so hard to distinguish to the current definition of the American dream. It also got me thinking if this gospel is what influences tithes.

It's been a while since I saw the movies - and oh my days, I've completely forgotten what's happening! Peeta is so smart. I am in literal shock and awe.

So much fear and responsibility has been instilled in women, even from such a young age. How do you get out of it?

People are so addicted to the things or people that destroy them.

It's taking me so long to finish this book. It's embarrassing.

I don't subscribe to this. There's a lot of factor that play in with older couples and their decision to postpone marriage and childrearing. It's more than just not being able to plan ahead.

A long run of easy successes creates a sort of fragile confidence, the kind that is shattered when the first failure comes along. A great reminder.
