"True human goodness, in all its purity and freedom, can come to the fore only when its recipient has no power."

A lot going on at the moment.

People are so addicted to the things or people that destroy them.

It feels like things are either always grand or awful in our head. In reality, they are simply mediocre or average at best. So what am I afraid of?

All I'm getting so far is that humans have this insatiable and subconscious desire to fall and betray.
