ERr, Chapter Nine starts, Chapter 8 finished.

Chapter 6, finished. It's good I've forgotten most of what happened.

Isn't elsepeth the last herald-mage in quite awhile? forget. can't wait to be in the vale. 16% means I just finished chapter 3.

Mm. Forgot Darkwind stopped using magic. Wonder if he will again. Tragic what happened to him. Having to learn more since the hearthstone is unstable. I'm paying attention because I know more now preparing for the mage storms.

Chapter 1 Finished. This is a reread in the proper sequence. It's exciting being here knowing who everyone is.

Forgot to mention of By the sword it's nice to have all this additional context about who the fuck Ancar is going in to the mage winds again.

Chapter 18 finished. Nearing the end. I've been so excited for this novel and now I'm almost done. I look forward to the Mage winds again.

Book two Done. onto the price of command. Kerowyn is now Captain.

I just ordered the Samsung Galaxy Buds pro 4 so that I can listen to these books when Grocery shopping and make the trip less boring. I can't believe what Kerowyn just did, if you read I just finished Chapter 15. I'm loving this, I've read a good 8 books to get to this point so now I've got it all in Context for my reread of The mage winds.

Kerowyn is not what I expected as a Child. but this is because I made the dumb mistake 25 or so years ago to read the mage winds first and now I know to use publication order and the whole experience is going to be so much different on my reread.
