It was OK .. upgrading from a 2, to 3 star.
More my reading style than anything else. I often dislike last books for the same reason i disliked this one.
To now it has been personalities and storyline.
At the last book we are left with battle, more battle, and endless more dodging the end of swords by a hairs breath. Saved at the last second by magic etc.
i skip 75% of these books, this one no exception.

stopped reading, I just didn't care to continue. I couldn't see an interesting story line developing.

Quite disappointed so far and don't see it changing. I read another book when nameless slaughtered the dwarfs initially. Cannot remember when but remember liking it.
Either my reading taste has changed or this is written differently. Magic happens (or deus ex machina) rules this book. It's frustratingly bad and the only way the author seems to know how to get out of tricky situations. It's embarrassing.

I already know I am going to give this 4 stars no matter how I had to suspend my complete disbelief system. The basis the book is set upon is so improbable.
After I got over that hurdle .. god this author writes beautifully, she is not your standard formula scribbler .. & back to the book.
