I wish I didn’t need to sleep. If I were 20, I’d just read all night and maybe finish in the morning. It’s a page turner.

Overall, it is a bit tedious. It could be half the length of she just got to the point. In the end, very little time is spent on what she thinks. The parable actually means. At least 2/3 of the book is spent on a redundant explanation of how current interpretations are incorrect.

Feels like pop psychology disguised as poetry. And there are typos.

Finally we seem to be getting somewhere. This is very slow to start, and I really hope it’s going somewhere. I think the book began somewhere around page 181.

This book is like a sedative.

Skip at least the last half of chapter 2. There is a better way to establish that some women do not regret not having children than to spend 20 minutes giving examples of women who regretted having children.

To advise someone to tell their child they love them but don’t think they are the best person for the role is the most godawful advice I’ve ever heard. Go tell a therapist. Telling your child is abuse.
