This is very hard to read. I am not sure I should have started it.

This book should have been about 500 pages. I kind of got tired of reading it. I also couldn’t without the dark, abusive man who is painted as sexy. Someone growling, “you’re mine” while holding you at the base of your throat is not sexy.

I wish I didn’t need to sleep. If I were 20, I’d just read all night and maybe finish in the morning. It’s a page turner.

Overall, it is a bit tedious. It could be half the length of she just got to the point. In the end, very little time is spent on what she thinks. The parable actually means. At least 2/3 of the book is spent on a redundant explanation of how current interpretations are incorrect.

Feels like pop psychology disguised as poetry. And there are typos.

Finally we seem to be getting somewhere. This is very slow to start, and I really hope it’s going somewhere. I think the book began somewhere around page 181.

This book is like a sedative.
