So I finally relented and bought the book. I am unsure what the big uproar it about this book. I've seen more action by now in most other books I have read. So far it's so dry I feel the need to soak it in some KY, just saying. hope it gets better or I'll feel like I have waisted alot of effort to just turn the page.

a very interesting book thus far. the main character seems to want isolation and the absence of emotion and human contact, yet still wanting contact to understand others thru their eyes. written in a voice of morbid philosophy - absolutely brilliant. like nothing I have ever read!
