I read somewhere that this series is supposed to be high fantasy, but after getting about halfway through, I simply have to disagree. It tries to create a magical world, but keeps getting lost in the so-called story, which so far has mainly revolved around the idea that everyone who is different from her should be avoided. Boo-hoo..🫣

I can‘t believe the series is over now 🥺 I’m gonna miss every character and their wholesome stories 🫶🏻

I don’t know.. the story starts in a very far-fetched way. First she’s back in prison, and then suddenly she’s invited to a wedding, gets her own maid, and jokes around in a new dress. It just doesn’t fit with how desperate and awful prison life was described before, which made it hard to take the story seriously.
