I read somewhere that this series is supposed to be high fantasy, but after getting about halfway through, I simply have to disagree. It tries to create a magical world, but keeps getting lost in the so-called story, which so far has mainly revolved around the idea that everyone who is different from her should be avoided. Boo-hoo..🫣
