This book is never-ending, I'm literally skipping through 2-3 chapters and I'm still only 50% done. This book is way too lengthy and too descriptive. Definitely a DNF for me, I wanted to read a 'Betting' story with lots of remorse, as someone recommended it, but I cannot seem to like the main characters at all, especially the female lead. She's just not the type of girl I wanna read about.

I did not understand, H's pov said that there was no passion or love between him and his kid's mother aka OW, and that they just married because she got pregnant. What I don't understand is if there was no love and you guys were just best friends why would you want to birth another child?I mean got it that you accidentally got pregnant and married but you don't love each other and still planned for another child?WHY?

This book had potential but man, there are SO many characters and there is so much going on at the same time, it's too confusing to keep up with all the town drama and why to introduce so many chars all at once, it gets irritating to place who is who and all those chars had nothing memorable and nor do the H and h, both were unbearable, I've no idea how did I even read the 25% of the book. 😩🤷‍♀️

It's annoying when the authors attack us with so many characters at once.
In this book, in just the first 5 chapters at least 10-15 characters were introduced and it was so HARD to keep up putting who is who and who he is related to. It was so disturbingly annoying that I just couldn't go past chapter 5. A dnf for me.

The hero had a crush on his brother's now wife while his current heroine is also the ex of his brother!! So you know, not my type of book!

It's a dnf for me, I'm only in 25% and I was already bored and skimming all the way up until 8th chapter. The h was really annoying and very childish and thinks that woman wearing make up are no good 🧐Also, the chemistry was so DULL, it felt like I was torturing myself by reading the book, it was THAT boring and I hardly ignore small town romance books but this one 🤐

No hate, but this book makes absolutely no sense! Why the h keeps getting random texts, who is this chick she keeps brining up and there's atleast 2-3 new characters introduced with every new chapter! Can't keep up with so many names and also h is so DULL and BORING! Just couldn't connect with her, she seems the most boring character I've ever read.

And the H is supposed to be a big bad Mafia Prince💀
And this is from just 20% of the book, I don't know if I can read ahead.

Man this book is so damn confusing!!!
We don't know when she is writing for the book, when she is talking to us or when she is stating her proverb, it's all so mixed up that it gets confusing af to know what the hell is going on in the book!

I can't keep up with this book, it's too slow!! I kept drifting all the way through the book, both the leads are so boring I can't even tell, also their inner monologues were way too many and no action, the author just kept explaining every single second.
Like when, H walking towards h took three pages! 😶
Also I'm almost 50% done with the book and I still haven't felt any chemistry between them.

So H is 44 - 45 and h is 39 and they behave worst than teenagers!!
Their first meet itself is so irritating and boring that I didn't have it in myself to continue reading this, also why do authors think sassy h is awesome and cool, like it's ok in limits, but this h was just so fucking annoying and I just only read the first chapter!

This was so boring! I love the older man, young woman trope but this was so boring that I had to visit the book again and again to read further.

I couldn't even finish a single chapter without getting irritated and bored with the h, she was SO annoying for no reason.

And H was bleh too. I won't be finishing this book anytime soon🙃

I seriously hated the h, she was abused and she still stayed with her husband and the reason for her staying was too childish. I mean she was irritating half the time and she stayed in H's house as if it was her own, H was not too great, he was also way too boring. Overall there was ZERO chemistry between the leads, the only lovable character is their daughter which is also doubtful since h cheated.

A book about a desperate, selfish and self obsessed heroine who DID NOT deserve Hero at all!!

I finished 18% of the book and why the hell is h laughing after every sentence H says?? He grunts, she laughs, he breaths, she laughs, he talks, she laughs!! I was fed up!! 300+ pages of this nonsense? I won't be able to stand it. I understand author wanted to portray h as a sunshine and one with always a joyful mood but dude this is too much!! Way too much!!

"This woman, whom I don’t even know, is pissed at me." This are H's thoughts on h who is his assistant for six years!!
And he is the damn CEO of some company!! This book clearly lacks even the basics of logic!!

Hero and heroine both keep sucking faces, giving blowjobs , having threesomes, orals just not with each other!!

Just giving out warning for the safe readers which I never got!! 🥲

Why do authors put on a hot and heavy scene of H with OW when they want to build up a romance between H and h, seriously, the scene where OW was giving head to the H killed the whole book for me and I wonder if all her books are the same.
I don't call this books romance where you're showing intimate scenes with other people!

h was pregnant with H's baby 18yrs ago who she gave birth to and later for adoption. Throughout those 18 yrs he slept with bunch of OW while I don't know if h did or not. He left her when she was pregnant and when he returned after 18 years, he asks her on a date and she agrees immediately!! Never saw such a WEAK h.
This was definitely not a romance book i ever wanna read. So dnf for me.

I'm gonna dnf this one, I have a little bit problem with the author's writing style, let's say she is way too descriptive about every little thing, I can't read two continuous pages about how heroine got out of the car!
Also, I'm only on ch.4 and h is all over H with her feelings, it's too soon for me and the book has 30+ ch's with too little descriptions. So yeah, not for me.

The book is just so sad and depressing, and H and h just keeps sleeping with other people, so done with that.

I have no idea how this book has 5 stars by every freaking reviewer, you won't see any rating below 5 and I'm really starting to wonder how is that even possible!! This book is a headache, H is a disgusting pig and h is a complete doormat and yet people are loving it so much?! Why?! I guess this reviews are paid or something coz this book definitely doesn't deserve 5 stars.

This h was pathetic and so she treated her dogs like shit!! Ordering them left and right, she exposed them to gunshots when she very well knew her dogs could get shot! In simpler words, she treated them like her servants and I happen to very much love animals so I wouldn't be finishing it.

At first the author told H had been with only one OW but then 3-4 chapters later, it's told he has bedded many females!! He was really rude and h was annoying af. She would get angry at H for total of 1 minute before she is already forgiving him. There was no chemistry between them only sexual activities. h was way too desperate for my liking.

This book was all over the place.So much was happening in just single chapter, there were so many time skips I almost don't know what their age is! H was told to be in love with h since they were 13 but he had wasn't a virgin,H left h after taking her virginity, and during separation he wasn't single, he had partners while h was still single. Double standards I tell you!

h is desperate so much that she cries under the shower because H refused to have sex with her! H was an ass, 50% into the book and he still hasn't given up on his ex, he fvcking remembers her when he was making out with h! Again, I felt no connection to the characters, both of them. No chemistry whatsoever. Bored me to death 🥱

Okay what is this about jumping from one scene to another just like that? One moment they are at restaurant where H drops the bomb that h should marry him when they had just met two days back, then suddenly the scene changes where they are on a plane and the very next paragraph they are married! 😑 And H has two girlfriends at the same time! Yeah I definitely won't be reading this author anymore.

No hate to the author, but why do her books look like some kid wrote it?! Seriously, long ass paragraphs, names like Boomer, cyber (coz he knows his way with computers).h meets H's sister two weeks before she goes and stay with his sister then H meets h and is already planning a wedding.h has no problem moving in with H after knowing him for two days! They're all lovey dovey and YUCK!! can't finish this book!!!

I may be the only one out here, but I couldn't read it past 3rd chapter, there is so much unnecessary details and information given that I don't even feel like reading it. There is thorough information of one of the places in the book that I felt like I was reading one of the boring school books! This one was not for me.

h is so desperate for H as if he is her only living source and she is only eighteen. H was an doughebag too, he had a girlfriend but he cheats on her with h bcoz she looks yummy🤮 then by the end I skimmed and found out the girlfriend blackmails H bcoz she knows some truth and asks her to leave h and he does! No surprise there, he was never serious about her anyway. 🙃
