Ok, I didn't have to wait too long for them to reunite. Indie, his teenage, adopted 6 that she missed the small life. He was able to go back, and the reunion was sweet.

He went back to New York and now both MC are heartbroken. I hate this for them and need a resolution now.

That was the most heartbreaking confession of love ever. They want to be together, but he knows he will be moving away soon, my heart.

They finally got together, and it was sweet. 2🌶

I love how the romance between Fisher and Sage started slow, but that kiss, damn.

I like how Sage has helped Fisher open up. It is also cute how they are slowly falling for eachother.

The book has picked up and now has me fully invested. I love the chemistry between the MCs. Sage is happy go lucks and finds the positive in life while Fisher is the opposite. The differences in their personality helps build the connection and I'm betting will lead to character growth.

Ok, so after reading a bit more, Fisher the MMC, is not as bad as I thought. He has had a lot of bad things happen to him and is trying his best to cope. I also love Sage, she is happy and embraces life.

I am not sure how I feel about the MMC in the book right now. He is not in a great place, but also seems kinda standoffish. Hopefully he gets better.

Again, more twist that I did not see coming. Emily released the King stuck in the tree and then was trapped by him. I love that the village she was researching in came to the rescue.

The marriage proposal from Wendell came out of nowhere. I was not expecting this book to have romance, completly took me by surprise.

I have answers about Shadow! Also, Bamblebe's journal entry was hilarous, very unlike Emily's neat notes.

This has taken a different turn than I thought. Emily is now using her knowledge to help the townsfolk and is in a faerie area. I now have questions about Shadow, her dog now.

This book keeps getting more interesting. I love how Emily collects folktales from the area to add to her knowledge about Faeries. I loved the three tales that were included into the story. Also, she was 100% correct about Wendell and has confronted him about his exile. I am excited to see if more is revealed about him.

I am not sure how I feel about Wendell Bamblebe. He is pompous and lazy when doing his research. It seems that he is there to gain from Emily's efforts or mess up her research, not sure yet. I am leaning towards Emily's hypothesis that he is himself fae.

I am liking how this book is written from an academic point of view, almost like reading a research report. I also love Emily as a character, she is straight forward and looking to record what she observes about the faeries.

The found them! Well, more like Violet was found by them and I am not so sure that the dragons are happy with her.

Way to go Violet! She secured the deal with the isles and found her dad's research.

Andarna is hilarious. I love how she banters with Tarin and wants to eat everything in site.

Aetos in charge is disgusting.

The vernin are already attacking by the end of chapter 1.

The Phantom going into and taking down a rival family was bad ass. He basically took out 15 people by himself.

I wish there was more focus on the plot of the story other than just the romance (failing marriage and the phantom). The time period and focus on the mafia could be fantastic.

I am having issues getting into this book. I'm just going through the motions to finish it. John has now been turned into a made man and is working for Angelo. I don't see that going well for him.

The story has started picking up now that Gigi and Ronaldo have officially made contact and are talking to eachother. He may be in the mafia, but he seems like a romantic type.

Of course Lionel changed the law to force Darious to marry Mildred.

Geraldine capturing Darious with treasure was funny. He is such a dragon.

The graveyard chapters were intense. I'm glad they retrieved the Imperial Star.

Orion found the Imperial Star!!! Now he just has to get it and keep it away from Lionel.

I love the Seth chapter. It was a bit of comic relief that was much needed.
