I am having issues getting into this book. I'm just going through the motions to finish it. John has now been turned into a made man and is working for Angelo. I don't see that going well for him.

The Phantom going into and taking down a rival family was bad ass. He basically took out 15 people by himself.

I wish there was more focus on the plot of the story other than just the romance (failing marriage and the phantom). The time period and focus on the mafia could be fantastic.

The story has started picking up now that Gigi and Ronaldo have officially made contact and are talking to eachother. He may be in the mafia, but he seems like a romantic type.

So far I am having some trouble getting into this book. I was hoping it would have the same impact as the Cat and Mouse Duet did. So apparently Gigi's husband has them in debt and he just continues to gamble all their money away. This lead to him having a mob member spy on him and finding Gigi. I hope more is to come.
