The book ended on a very somber, peaceful note. I was glad to finally be done with it, but sad that I had to, if that makes any sense. I like how the author was able to finally wrap up the book in a non - confusing way. I would love to see some sort of follow up to the book by the author, but I am afraid it would ruin the experience of the Oleander Girl in some ways. I may look into the work of this author later.

I think that the development of so many characters is one of the hardest things to do. So many people in this story change in one way or another, and it is hard to portray a lot of them in a story because of how confusing it can get for the reader. However, this book does a very good job of it, and I like the development of everyone of Korobi, to Rajat, to Pia, and so on and so on.

I think having the father of Korobi being black was a very good plot twist for the story. This is because it shows how her father is also a minority in American, and could have experienced the same things that Korobi and other Indians had been facing in the story. However, the other twist that he completely rejected her helped present distrust in America at this time, even though she could be his daughter.

So far, almost exactly what I thought would happen, has happened. Korobi has not found her father, and will probably be going back to see her family and fiance. I am a little bit shocked however that Rajat did not ge back together with Sonia, as that is kind of where it seemed like he was leaning towards going. I think that it was good of him to stick with Korobi though, especially out of integrity.

America is filled with many different dangerous elements right now, especially for people like Korobi. 9/11 is one of the main causes of these dangerous elements, but there are other factors to take into account. For Korobi specifically, it is that she is a foreign person who is alone without that much money and can be taken advantage of. I also think danger is what will draw Korobi and Vic closer together.

I think that the story would go in a very interesting direction if Korobi ended up not finding her father, AND she broke off the engagement with Rajat. I also think that it would be more realistic to what would happen in real life, and that it would shock audiences with that outcome rather than the typical fairy tail ending.

Things are starting to get a little more confusing in the book. I am having a hard time keeping track of characters, and the main plot. It just seems like the author got very off-track with some of the plot. I don't know if I like the story as much, but it still seems to pick up in certain times. I hope the book will be able to get back on track to what I was liking in it.

Despite the situation is at hand for Korobi, I think she is handling their situations fairly well. Korobi is in a foreign country that she has never been in or experienced anything like that before, it's incredibly scary. But besides that, she is learning a lot about how to be assertive. Rajat however is not handling things as well. I think he is incredibly stressed by everything and that it is starting to get to him

The book is described partly to be about Korobi going through post 9/11 America. At first I thought that meant that she would be in America the entire time, and a small child, not an adult. It is good, yet saddening, to see the part of the book where she actually is in a post 9/11 America. I think it will help drive the plot a lot better, and make things are lot more interesting.

While I enjoy the book, I still find a large amount of the story is be incredibly basic and cliche. "Oh, her fathers actually alive!?!? OH MY GOD! I NEVER COULD HAVE SEEN THAT COMING!" was the sarcastic thought in my head after I had learned that Korobi's father death was made up to fool her. But I still enjoy the book, despite the cliches because of how interesting it is and how driven it has kept me to finish it.

I think that the grandfather of Korobi is very right to have problems with the marriage of Korobi and her fiance. It just its not for the right reasons. Korobi is way too young and still in college, granted they are waiting till after college to get married, but still. Believe or not, your brain has not fully formed yet still at that age, and not capable of making the most mature decisions. They need a few years.

This book has proved to be very interesting so far. I am in very curious in finding out more about what happened exactly to the parents of the main character before there deaths, and if it was significant at all. I think that the method of opening with a book with a dream sequence is a bit overused, so I am thinking that I might see cliche things in the writing of the book.

The book continues to fascinate me. I like how the also talk about the influences of other members of the band towards Led Zeppelin. It is quite interesting to learn all these fascinating stories from this book. I enjoyed the part in the book where they actually showed an interview that the author gave a while ago.

The character of Leper has become a lot more interesting compared to the beginning of the book. He has a lot more depth to him, and is generally a darker character. He seems to have gone very mad while still keeping his intelligence. I think that he will delve more into this madness and eventually, someone will get seriously hurt because of it, if it's by his hand or someone else's.

In the pages that talk about the winter carnival, we begin the see a re-appearance of a Finny that we knew before. One that is goofy and fun loving, not the depressing one that came back to the Devon school. Maybe this has something to do with Leper being gone, with one less person around to look at him in his new state.

The change of character on Finny is tremendous. He went from making stuff up about to war so he could celebrate, to not even believing in a war at all. He started out a patriot, and came out a conspiracy theorist. It is crazy how suffering an injury can change someone so drastically. I suppose a lot of people could lose faith in a system after losing something so great and of importance to them.

I was shocked when Finny returned. But that wasn't the only thing that shocked me. A lot of the book has started to twist its plot direction, and now it seems like there is something about German spies. The book is just generally starting to get a lot more complex and interesting. I can't tell if the jokes are jokes anymore too, it all seems much weirder compared to summer session.

I do not think that Gene should beat himself up about the broken leg of Finny. He may be to blame for the fall, but knowing Finny, Finny will not keep resentment against him for a long time. It was probably a better idea for Gene to tell Finny that it was his fault that Finny broke his leg when jumping out of the tree. This is because it helps him not eat himself away with a secret he has.

I was shocked to hear of the revelation of Gene about what he thought that Finny was trying to do. The idea that Finny would do something stupid, that is understandable. But Gene was suggesting that Finny has basically tried to ruin his plans for the future, and it is weird to think that Finny would do that.

The book has started off very good. I have found a lot of interest in the life of Clapton for a while, and since a popular saying was, "Clapton is God", I like learning about the man behind the god. This book has also given me more motivation as a guitar player, as it shows the struggles he shows and that even through those struggles, how he became one of the greatest guitarists in the world.

The book has started very good. It is quite interesting in its storytelling in quite relatable to parts of the Cardigan Experience. While reading, I was reminded the of the, "Dead Poets Society". A prediction I have about the book is that, similar to the movie "Dead Poets Society", someone will end up killing themselves in pursuit of a dream.

The fate of both Wes Moores turned out about what you would expect. The question that I think is important is if Wes Moore (the one in prison) deserves to be in prison, or at least a shorter sentence. If he did rob the prison, then he probably should have a shorter sentence. But I think he didn't, so I do not think he should be in prison

I do not think that Wes is guilty. I think that Tony is, but not Wes. I think this because Wes was just starting to try to get his life together. He would not want to ruin it for him and his family at that point. He also shows different attitudes compared to the other people who are being accused, actually trying to take his case to court.

Fate is something that has treated the Wes Moores much differently. As soon as the author Wes Moore was making all the wrong decision, he gets sent to military school, which changes his life, for the better. While as the criminal Wes Moore is actually trying to get his life on track, he gets accused of murder something and sent to prison.

Military School was just the right motivation to get Wes back on track. If he hadn't had started, he might have ended out like the Other Wes Moore who is in prison. It is also very fitting that the place that he once ran away from four times in only a short period of time, because his safe place for him to stay when he is in danger danger getting away from the boys of that town nearby.

My belief in the last goodreads update has been confirmed. Wes Moore (the murderer) has been arrested yet again, showing things going downhill for him once again. And now, Wes Moore (the author) has become a platoon sergeant for his bunk. So the situations of both Wes Moore is changing and molding drastically.

I think that now that Wes is done running away from the military school, that he will now get his act together for real. And that this is where he becomes the Wes Moore that he is today. That same applies to the author Wes Moore, as he has just killed another man, and this is where he becomes the Wes Moore that we know today.

The book has been great getting more in-depth with the life of Jimmy Page. I find it interesting to learn about because its like learning how a mere man because basically, on the same level of god, if not more worshipped at his prime.
