It's stressing me out that every other paragraph has to mention how "fat" or "overweight" she is and how that she knows she's the unattractive friend. There has to be a better way for authors to do this than bashing on oversized women. You can be fan and still be gorgeous. I really hate this.

There is pining and then there is whatever the fuck this is. Someone please tell me I'm allowed to DNF this book.....

I like Brock, I really do. He is sweet and funny. He's fine. He's your typical "man falls first" trope. Nix... meh, jury is still out... she annoys me already. This book just feels like a slog fest so far. The tension between them isn't even fun. She just avoids him for no reason. Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. We'll see.

I find it weird that she's obsessed with their age difference when he's only 4 years younger than her. Her saying that she feels like his mom is SO weird.
