I saw some of the reviews. I don't have high hopes for this. Wish me luck. I'm already in a terrible reading slump.

Alright, I'm reading again. For now... I'm confused how she went from insufferable to the one I actually like and he went from grumpy asshole to a golden retriever. This book is giving me whiplash.

I gotchu! Some slump busting recs I’ve read in the last few years: Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman, The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna, Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center, The Love Haters by Kathering Center, Funny Story by Emily Henry, Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor, Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen, Clown in a Cornfield by Adam Cesare, Red Rising by Pierce Brown (I know, I know, but it’s a page-turner 😅), Small Spaces by Katherine Arden (it’s middle grade by very fun, spooky Stranger Things vibes), Stay Sexy and Don’t Get Murdered by Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgariff (really funny memoir by two true crime podcast hosts), Saga Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan (absolutely brilliant and batshit sci-fi graphic novel), Locke & Key Vol. 1 by Joe King (also a graphic novel, kind of a mash-up of the vibes of Scream, Poltergeist, The Frighteners, and Casper). Good luck! Let me know if any of these work for you 🤞
