This book is feeling over stretched. The plot about heartbreak seems to drag on and on.

However, if you want to figure out your life pathway after a not so mutual break up, this book is for you!

It is undoubtedly relatable and very character driven.

Why are so many things happening at the same time? Not that I am complaining but it is quite strenuous on the brain.

Finally reading this.
I started it while I was on a five hour train journey and now it is all I can think of.

Progressing very fast.
So much is at stake.

Halfway through this book and the pace has picked up. Mare's choices and position feels more heavy and more dangerous now.

Although I am not loving it with all my heart, I am intrigued to see where the story turns next!

At times, I am thinking if I am too dumb to understand what they are speaking about.

I gotta do a lot of research to grasp this book. Anyone else feeling this way? Am i the only one who is feeling like this? 😞😭

I just started this with lots of hope and expectations. However, I am not gonna rush. I am gonna slowly savour this book. This picks up right from the first page. Although I wonder if this will be as good as the poppy war trilogy, I am not gonna be judgmental. I must admit that I am going into this book utterly blind. Haven't read the blurb or anything about it for that matter.

The story has picked up and how!
This isn't the book you would be able to skim read as it draws you in and leaves you curious and wanting to know more, to read more.

The pace is the only reason i picked it up but now i realize that there is so much more in this book!

Finally felt like reading a bit today. So I chose something fast paced like this.

I have high expectations from this. Let's see!

Stoner teaches that even the quietest existence
can thunder with meaning.

I want to memorize every line. I want to etch the pain like a permanent tattoo. I don't want to recover from this book. I want the hangover to last till it humanly can. If I could, I would have annotated every page. But the story demanded just simple absorption and acknowledgement. So, I am giving it that!

I am already weeping and having goosebumps.
What a powerful book!

This book is a punch in my gut. It resonates with my being. The lines are echoing long after I have read and absorbed them to the fullest. There is a stark demarcation between how someone deals with his or her own mental illness and how someone deals with a mental illness that has affected the near and dear ones. There is something very intense about this book, something that is infectious and addictive.

Call me Moonbeam, would you?☺️
Bingeread this book today and now I am over halfway through.

The beginning was difficult to comprehend but once the plot started making sense and the pace picked up, I couldn't put it down!

I think I am going to have an unpopular opinion on this book. It is a fun time but that's all it is. A silly, giddy, goofy fun time with some emotional baggage like a dying parent and plenty of miscommunication...

I am speeding through it though. There is a reason why I don't like reading steamy, contemporary, adult romances. I wish I could explain.
