Opened the book and the dedication already got to me. I felt that.

If this doesn't end well and acknowledges at least one of the multiple mysteries and questions I have by the end of this, I will be very upset hah.

Just finished chapter 15 and now I'm hooked. I both had predicted what was coming, but not. The real outcome had me emotionally stunned and excited. 🥹

This books goes fast, starting from the first couple chapters, and I kind of love it. It's so refreshing! With Vampyre's and Werewolves being mortal enemies, things can get sticky, but the main character's intentions are known at the very beginning. You know why Misery is doing what she's doing, and the other character's learn it fairly quickly. No drawn-out, frustrating misunderstandings until the very end here!

Skip right to Chapter 1. The first 10 pages are filled with a non-sensical, highly descriptive (with street names...like we're supposed to know) halloween night in the late 90s and then a breakdown with a small summary of what each chapter is about.

I am already so intrigued by this book! I am that quintessential little girl who loved unicorns and has brought that all the way into my adult life. So I love an adult romance fantasy that is feeding that interest. The writing isn’t the most sophisticated, but I am already in anticipation of where this story will lead!

The first trailer for the BBC adaption just came out. Wanted to re-read before it comes to the States for me to watch.

Finally got a copy of Speaker for the Dead so I wanted to re-read the first. It was definitely worth a re-read.

Because it's slow at work I'm trying this story again but in audiobook version...since there was a small part of me that wanted to finish the story.

Feeling nostalgic for my favorite book from when I was a kid. Wanted to revisit it again before the movie comes out (which I am SO excited about).

I love this book so much I've already read it twice...I think it might become a yearly thing for me. Now I'm about to listen to the audiobook narrated by none other then award winner for his narration of my other favorite books, Jim Dale.

Re-reading

Finally got a copy of the third book in the series and I enjoyed these so much I'm rereading.
