This books goes fast, starting from the first couple chapters, and I kind of love it. It's so refreshing! With Vampyre's and Werewolves being mortal enemies, things can get sticky, but the main character's intentions are known at the very beginning. You know why Misery is doing what she's doing, and the other character's learn it fairly quickly. No drawn-out, frustrating misunderstandings until the very end here!
