On a Poirot binge again 🫣

I should probably read something a bit more challenging, but here I am… my third Poirot in a row 🫣

Loved the Mowgli tales; I didn't expect some parts, like the clubbings with Kotick or Rikki-Tikki-Tavi's heroism, to be written so plainly and realistically :')))

Just finished the part where Hartright met Sir Percival: gosh I don’t understand that people call this book boring! There’s so much happening, a perfect combination of Victorian melodrama, action, unexpected turns and suspense. It’s written in such an engaging and quick-paced way (considering it’s time). Also, what the heck just happened?! lol

Mr. Gilmore’s narrative just ended. How can I go to sleep after Mr. Fairlie being sooo aggravating, ohoho very annoying (also poor servant with the sketches)

kind of forgot about this book 😳 but continuing again, a bit slow but really endearing though

the last several books i’ve read have bummed me out so i chose this book to read as i’ve had high expectations of it and boy it does not fail. i’m loving it so far <3

So far so boring. Maybe instead of only reading this during my commute I should just get it over with in one sitting. There is flow but there is no point, no “suspense”, no nothing. Maybe it’s building up to something but at this rate I doubt it

Bad. I don’t like wasting my time with books I dislike, but it reads quickly so I’ll continue with the hope the murderer isn’t the person I’ve been suspecting all along.. only way my rating would go from 1 to 2 stars.
