I stopped reading and got rid of the book. I just don't think I'm the Right audience for it

Wishing for this to be done. I wonder if a physical book wouldn't be better than the audiobook - I can't stand the author/narrator's voice, but I'm not sure I could have gotten it through the library.

Ugh. When will this book be over?

No use of the r word since 4%, but my meh opinion hasn't been changed. I'm grateful that I can listen to it on 1.75 times speed.

If I wasn't reading for a book group, I would not bother listening further. She has used the outdated and offensive r-word for cognitive impairment twice now.

I'm through the first section. It is still a challenging read and just as much I still want to finish it. Not sure that will be possible within the library checkout. But I'm trying

I both love and I'm struggling with this book. It is so dense with population numbers and non-anglicized names and dates. But it feels so important for me to read this because none of this was taught in public school.

I have been thoroughly enjoying the book but it has been slow going because it is so heavily academic with footnotes worthy of being read. It's now overdue and has to be returned without me finishing. I hope to be able to get back to it

I'm enjoying the book but it has to go back to the library with 2/3ish read. Check it back out near Pesach.

On one hand I am enjoying the book but I am returning it to the library having only gotten into the introduction because I took a class on the book and experienced transphobia. I will need to return it at a future date.

Unfortunately have to return it before I'm even done through chapter one. State level loan

I am really enjoying this book, allow with how academic it is, it's slow going. I'm not sure I'll finish it before the check out period so I may have to return to it at some point, but I hope to be much further into it before I have to return it.

I'm on page 47 in the print book but I'm about to switch over to the ebook. Obviously enjoying it enough that I wanted to buy it.

I think this is what I'm reading. I've started Mishneh Torah on Sefaria and the daily learning schedule is supposed to get me through the whole work in 3 years.

I returned the book unfinished because it's not what I need in terms of climate knowledge now.

I'm struggling to get into this book. Debating pushing through it or not.

Loving this!

I'm not sure how I didn't already have this on my currently reading; I started enjoying it in the fall, I think. I'm so enjoying it, but it is not a fast read.

I'm taking this back to the library unfinished even though it might be fun to finish the book at a later date, the textbook nature of this makes it not an easy read within a library checkout period.

I'm trying to get an audiobook of this, but it might not get to me in time for my book club, but I won't hesitate to say "it was so bad that I couldn't read it"

I don't think I'm far enough in my Jewish learning to appreciate this book currently. Maybe down the road I will pick it up or rather get it from the library again

I may managed to read more of this before it must go back to the library but I am planning on buying this at some point because the amount of references to places in the talmud are too much to read in the library checkout.
