I don’t like any character, but it’s also so easy to read?

very probable that the three people in the fire, who are supposedly dead don’t just include Toby’s fake death, but also mayyyybe her mother’s, assuming she knew Toby then.

That is not at all surprising, I could almost yawn. I want this to end, but I also want this to have something good as it ends.

I’m tired of that one character arc 😭

I didn’t think we’d get any more povs, but I’ve read some of Stepon’s and it feels so nice to read.

So, the pov switches keep coming without a warning? I’m all for multiple povs, but here each one’s written in first person, and the switch happens mid-chapter, without any explicit marker; no mention of a name, no first lines or first three letters in bold, etc. I think it could be very confusing for those who pick this book on a whim and don’t feel like committing to it (like me, except I was taken by curiousity).

I do not usually mind parting scenes or the circumstances that lead the main characters away from each other, but I’m not at all liking that right now. 😩
