Took a grisly turn I wasn’t expecting lol

Christmas gift from bf’s mom last year so getting it in at the last minute before christmas this year. So far this is mostly about apples (not complaining)

I read 200 pages of this yesterday while sitting in an 80 degree projection booth and half watching Kill Bill The Whole Bloody Affair twice through

This is going well for a novel to read while I’m at work. I’m not totally sold but I’m enticed

Starting a process I’ve been considering for a while which is to just start reading all of the books on my general non-fiction/politics/history/philosophy bookcase in order (alphabetically by author’s last name) so I can start paring down. I feel like it’s gonna take five years but it will be cool. I don’t buy books nearly as often as I used to and it’s time to up my read:unread ratio

I watched Black Bag the other day in which Michael Fassbender gives some great monologues and I’m finding that creeping in to my internal reading voice for this and it’s really working

Incredibly stuff. It’s Kafka it’s looney toons it’s Pynchon it’s the simpsons it’s dirty jokes and fever dreams it’s like candy on the tongue I love it !!!!!

This book is so kooky I’m getting little tricks played on me all the time

Currently Reading 19....... time to see how many of these I've left out to dry this year can be finished up by the end of 2025 :/

I can’t believe how much I love reading this book it’s so fucking funny and clever and well crafted and the experience of taking it slow and reading supplementary materials out of curiosity and really Getting Into It ™ is so rewarding. I’m starting to have Bloom thoughts lol
