I am loving this read. Very curious about how everything is going to work out for everyone and their individual plans to somehow save the family.

I will add that I see some of myself & a bit of my own family’s history and “rituals” in the Haddesleys.

Entering the last 2 parts of the this book. So much has happened so fast and I have many questions after receiving quite a bit of backstory and information. I will say that I have been enjoying the crew managing taking shots from so many different angles and each of them are having to face trials they thought they already overcame.

I just hope this crew gets their mf lick-back because they deserve it!

No plan can ever go smooth for the crew can it…also this Pekka Rollins is a mf nuisance & he needs to be exterminated 👀

The pace of this book is moving much faster than book 1. I am loving all the action & romantic tension so far.

I’m glad to see the Wraith is back with her crew and I am very curious as to how the rest of Kaz’s plan is going to play out considering there are some unexpected challenges like mechanical flying bird-people!!

This book is picking up for me a bit sooner than the first book did.

Wei may not like it but Ciyi has a point, to be Empress you've got to be a bit cruel to those who wish to see you fall/fail...
