My 3rd graders and I have been reading this together. It is such a cute story with a lot of life lessons we have or will endure. It is funny, sad, happy, literally all the feels for little readers.

Still pushing through this book. Can’t believe I’ve had to soft dnf this one since twice release date. Definitely not my fav in the series so far. But I’m determined to get it off my “currently reading” list lol

I knew Tristan was going to hold my attention from the beginning. This is just the book I needed since another one was putting me in a slump

Still trucking along… This book just doesn’t have it for me like Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. I know the last chapters will be crazy, so that’s why I haven’t DNF it.

I'm still pushing through, but it is starting to get better a little.

Soft DNFing... on the struggle bus with this one. I'm not enjoying the way this started. It's not grabbing my attention, and I have no FOMO for doing a soft DNF. This feels like it's going to be a rushed book.

Although I am enjoying this book, I do feel like it is dragging. So many things could've been omitted, and it wouldn't have made it feel like the story was lacking.

Ok, part 1 dragged a bit, even though I enjoyed it. On to part 2, and it seems like it's about to get crazy! Listening to graphic audio while reading along with it is definitely keeping me intrigued.

I forgot how long the chapters are 🙈

It's finally starting to pick up

I hope this starts picking up soon!! Chapter 13, and it feels redundant and corny so far.

I am loving this Freida book. The back and fourth between timelines are really keeping my interest. I have my theories, but let's be honest here, I'm sure it's wrong, because well it's Freida and she loves to make us ponder.
