Once you get over the "second person narrative"-ick, it's quite enjoyable.

I judged too early.
It's actually not that bad after you get past the first 20-something pages!

No but where are all those sex scenes coming from all of the sudden?
There's literally no chemistry going on between any of those people.

Insanely boring almost-enemies-to-lovers trope for the first like 180 pages - and then the "forced proximity"stuff gets thrown at the reader.

For the love of god, stop abusing tropes like that in non-fanfiction writing. If your characters are painfully boring and unlikeable, tropes won't make the book any more interesting.

Genuinely, who's the target audience for this book?

But already more than one third finished so what's 220 more pages.

Probably shouldn't have started a 6th book before finishing one of the other 5 but oh well.

Picked this one because I thoroughly enjoyed "Weather Girl" by the same author. So far sadly not too convincing. All the characters are deeply to medium unlikeable at best.

Y'all know I'm a sucker for vampires.
BUT.
What is that writing style? It reads ✨️poetic and pretentious ✨️ the way a broody 15 y/o would write her Wuthering Heights fanfiction on AO3.

It's just so plain bordering on cringe - I'm going to power through, though, because if I already have the book I might as well finish it. 😔🚬

Ab und zu kratzt die Autorin fast an einem originellen Gedanken, aber bevor dieser wirklich ausformuliert wird, wird dann das Thema gewechselt.

Die ✨️relatable social media experiences✨️ gehen komplett an mir vorbei*. Da schein ich nicht die Zielgruppe zu sein - vermutlich wär das Buch unterhaltsamer, wenn ich das besser nachvollziehen könnte.
