This book is actually starting to become interesting.

Actually reading the 2nd edition but it's not on Goodreads yet 😔

This book itself is the epitome of pretty privilege. If the author had invested the same amount of time into actually formulating interesting thoughts than she did into the overall graphic design of the book, rather than regurgitating empty instagram-phrases and therapy-speak, it might have been remotely useful.

Bought this book in 2020 and never continued after reading the first 20 pages.
Picked it up again today and quickly remembered why: it's giving a whole lot of... nothing?
It reads like a bunch of empty phrases and Instagram-quotes.
Probably would have ate this book up if it came out in 2012, when I was 14, but I feel like as soon as you've read a couple of more serious books on feminism this will feel pretty empty.

The "Your mother sold you to One Direction"-trope but set in the regency era.
