The waterworks started. Thought I might be immune but nope, sniffling now.

Ok. now the book tries to humanise Marcia. Still don't feel completely won over yet.

Sigh. the story is nice but it's using the "women are the root of all evil" trope and giving Nick the easy out so far. I hate that.

"Dr. Bradford, you couldn't afford me." - Heehee. This tickled me a lot. I am reading this as a snail's pace. :( This book requires the respect of full concentration and my mind has been all over the place. Haven't been able to focus on any one thing all week.

It took me exactly two months to realise that tagging books I've read this year as read-in-2013 is not quite right.

Huh. I just realised I set this book aside and never actually finished it. Oops.

I really want to love this book but...there's been a lot of vibrating during sex. And no, there were NO sex toys present. -_-

Vegetable fritata? Flatbread with goat cheese?! Green beans?! What is this horrible travesty of a meal! Where's the meat? *growl*

Hmm. Jory's magical power seems to be turning every one night stand into creepy-esque stalkers.

O..kay. No. I put this book on hold while I wander back to familiar territory. I kept getting distracted by shiny boys.

We interrupt our regularly scheduled Hot Boy on Boy Feast Fest for something completely non-romance-related. WILL I SURVIVE? LOL...

A major downside of being a mostly romance novel reader is that once I try to read non-romance books, my brain gets so confused when there's no getting it on in the books.

"Why hasn't anyone kissed yet? We're halfway through the book!"

Stupid brain, get with the program!

Just realised I've been on an MMR binge this December. Reading 3-6 books in a day! WHAT?! How did I do it? I still don't know.

Sigh. Am numb. I thought I would enjoy this. I liked the other Sean Michael books! Still early though. Let's see.

"It's a salad. It doesn't need a safeword." - Okay. I'm all in now. I was originally put off by the wordiness of the story, but I'm ALL IN NOW.

Once I decided to throw common sense, logic and reality out the window, this book isn't too bad... Ugh. Who am I kidding? I want this to end faster! On one of the few plus sides, the women in this book are nice.

This is getting to be really excruciating to read. The book is trying to force the opinion that "Dmitry isn't a bad guy, just born into the wrong family" at me with the subtlety of a spiked steel morning star to my face.

Wow. This is the first book I encountered where I thought the main character is exactly like a heroine in a m/f romance. Oh but wait, he has a penis.

*confused*

Also, this story has me rolling my eyes. Dmitri is in the Mafia, but he's not bad. The writing in this book is like one of those domestic abuse women who is all "he broke my arm and smashed my face in, but I know he really loves me."

Okay for real. These are the shittiest spies ever! Hahaha.

So these are hardened, experienced spies, spooks and operatives with lots of high tech tools to ferret out all kinds of info and what do they do? Use their expertise to be nosy about random love interests! It's like high school but with the governments' money. LOL.
