The relationship timeline is whack, and the plot is not in the room with us.

Both characters inner monologues are incredibly repetitive and I’m struggling to connect 🫠

As always Carl never disappoints. I’ve got good feelings about this one. 👀

I can already tell I probably won’t read the rest of these books. On the surface, they’re good and funny. However, they just have a lot going on, which ends up being their downfall. It also contributes to the book’s excessive length. I feel like there are too many minor storylines happening.

This story finally got cute and funny at around 30%. The beginning was a bit dragged out (I think this whole book in general might end up being too long).

The FMC makes some of the dumbest decisions I have ever seen. She’s got layers of trauma

I was hoping for a little more action by now. There really isn’t even wording building. Just a lot of internal monologue. 🫠

This book is going to send me into a full blown psychosis

I love a thriller that keeps you guessing - I hope this ends up being a mind fuck

I’m confused but the good kind of confused

Not always a fan of the one night stand trope because sometimes authors forget to rebuild the chemistry, but I’m actually not mad about this one (so far).

I need to stop now before I finish this whole book

Our FMC is a little annoying, but I can’t fault her for the lack of emotional maturity. (She has Stockholm syndrome.) Her fake daddy is a mega red flag and is hiding some serious secrets. The plot better take off like a race car soon because I’m a bit bored.

I’m slightly bored, and the repetitive “weak human” inner monologue is killing me. I find her annoying at the moment. Even though she probably lacks important emotional maturity for being 23, which is not her fault, she has Stockholm syndrome. Her fake dad is a 🚩🚨, and he’s got some SERIOUS SECRETS. I have faith this will get better, but I’m going to need the plot to pick up some speed.

The back half of this book definitely got a little more sciencey. I’m more invested in the characters anyways so I don’t really mind.

I have grown quite attached to this small rock alien and I will cry if he dies.

Sometimes the math/science goes over my head and that’s ok. Ryland is lowkey hilarious, and I’m also obsessed with Stratt.
