I'm reading this because my husband bought it for me as a gift, but I'm not sure I'm going to finish it.
"Little" in the title is appropriate. I'm struggling to relate to many of the writer's anecdotes, they are too superficial, and the way they address the verse of the day is spiritual milk rather than meat to nourish the soul and spirit.

Having already read The Chosen devotionals for seasons 1-5, I thought this one for kids might seem like spiritual baby food. It has definitely NOT been that! This devotional packs just as much power as the others have, but in a way that is relatable for kids. You get out of it what you put into it - pray first, set aside all the distractions of life, and give it your full attention, and it will nourish your soul.
