Seething so far that it’s directly lifted from the life of Mary Shelly- a retelling dressed as as a new mystery!?
I’ll persevere but, just annoyed I’ve read this history before- Villa Diodati on the shores of lake Geneva, a challenge to write a ghost story…a young woman succeeded- Mary Shelley. A story that has shaped science fiction & horror ever since.

Not as captivating as I’d hoped but…persisting

Cried twice so far ( about third of the way through). Slightly traumatised 😢
