Levinson seems just incredibly anti-union! A bit of a slog so far, but thankfully reasonably concise.

Not since My Year of Rest and Relaxation have I found a book so challenging to read. The inner cringe is off the charts. Vaguely reminds me of DFW's "The Depressed Person"

I didn't realize that Card got the term "Ansible" from this book!

The closer I get to the center of the book, the harder it is to stop.
