At about 20 pages you go 'yea that man definitely needs to die'

honestly im disappointed lol the thought of giving up on it did cross my mind, but i immediately felt what i can only describe as "diasporic guilt" so im gonna finish it

ive never read a fiction book that is written so much like a memoir its crazy. just in the first 30 pages ive had to stop and remind myself that this is fake like 5 times.

curious how reading this will feel the further into the book i get

ok im changing my tune on this very anxiety inducing well written for sure

still hate the kindle though

ok kindle has this awful bug where if a word is in vietnamese, the letter that has the accent markings is in a different font than the rest of the word and its actually 100% ruining the book because why is ê bigger than any other letter on the page

also not a fan yet but i have hope cause the murder hasnt happened yet so fingers crossed

honestly only put it down today because my background music stopped playing randomly and i went to investigate and learned that my wifi router might be kaput

The slowness is still there but after reading so much of it im now in time with the book and am now moving to its rhythm

this is one of the slowest books ive ever read but also not in a bad way? idk

big fan!! this is the perfect pacing, silliness, and mystery to get me out of a reading slump

I am ABSOLUTELY devouring this book its so freaking good and i am only pausing to write this because i almost started crying and didnt want to cry in public so i needed a break lol highly recommend!!

out of practice with mysteries lets see if i still have the juice and can solve this one

ok the kindle is wrong i was not 40% through lol it seems to think the book is only 80 pages long which is FALSE

saw the trailer for the movie in the theater yesterday and have rekindled my spark to finish the book out of spite so i can appropriately shit on it

is anyone in this book rational or sane?????
