honestly this books kinda sucks but its the perfect braindead book for my cold. i will not be solving it because im uninvested lol

gonna be honest you guys...it's losing me a bit

i used to describe my brain like a nascar racetrack: where my thoughts are like cars zooming around and everything is cyclical yet still moving forward at 200mph. anyways thats how this book is structured and im not sure how i feel about it

the first 100 pages are the intro and the translator's notes which i skimmed because im a heathen so i wouldn't say i read 105 pages but alas thats how the book is structured.

anyway saw the nolan movie last night and left with Thoughts on his adaptation and a burning desire to read this translation

its kinda like scott pilgrim meets the hunger games????

honestly its a little repetitive but holding out because i feel a plot twist coming on...

Started this book but then immediately had to pause to read my mountain of library books, but we're BACK!

after devouring a bunch of modern novels, my brain is having such a hard time with the old english sooooo wish me luck on this one

honestly im disappointed lol the thought of giving up on it did cross my mind, but i immediately felt what i can only describe as "diasporic guilt" so im gonna finish it

ive never read a fiction book that is written so much like a memoir its crazy. just in the first 30 pages ive had to stop and remind myself that this is fake like 5 times.

curious how reading this will feel the further into the book i get
