'Ek Ladki Paanch Dewaane' - love and lovers and class/gender dynamics with old school bollywood slapstick humour.
'Chuha aur Main' - mice solidarity against a human to get their rightful food.
'Akaal Utsav' - everybody loves a good drought, esp the bureaucrats.

Reading original Parsai is a treat.

Heartbreak and despair on almost every page. An important book that shows us how to reorient our moral compass. And yet, so woefully under-read.

Every section, every statistic, a painful reminder of the bubble we live in, how little we care and give back to help those who have little to nothing.
