This is hilarious. It's a video game in book format. I find some of the detailed info on achievements awarded (peak video game) can get a little bit redundant, but it's a funny story and has me curious how this book will end. The audiobook narrator does a really impressive performance.

From just the first couple of chapters I can already tell I'll enjoy this. Really funny tone and oddball situation. Reminds me a little of Hitchhikers Guide

Unusual book so far but seems to have an underlying allegory type vibe perhaps so I'll keep reading to find out more. The visuals are interesting yet difficult to imagine. What are these birds up to?

I'm excited to finally pick this up because 1) Everyone who loves epic fantasy raves about this book, and 2) I absolutely adore the anime Blue-Eyed Samurai, and from reading the description of this book, the themes have some overlap.
I expect to really enjoy this. I'm only on chapter 2 and can already tell the character work and world-building are going to be excellent.

SHALLAN Supremacy

SHALLAN supremacy. She gets cooler every chapter.
This series has the most amazing characters. I'm so invested in Dalinar's backstory.

Struggling to get into this one. The character names and setting might just be too wild for me. It's so imaginative and strange that I'm having trouble visualizing what's actually going on. When I get a burst of interest in the challenge, I'll probably attempt to continue it since it's so highly recommended by people whose book opinions I usually align with.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah satisfying payoff for these characters so far. Difficult to take breaks from reading this to be a functional adult

I feel like I'm nearing some interesting plot points. Khaladin's part of the story is still a trudge but with lots of character building and world building, so I'm looking forward to it being worth it 🤙
