honestly the beginning didn't have me hooked but now I'm slowly seeing the hype

Last time I read this was in March when I had no phone and I was ill. Picking it back up in July when I do have a phone but I'm ill again. But we've now been introduced to the love interest and ukw that's going to make me wanna finish the book now. I WANT SOME INSANE GIRLFRIENDS TYVM

i wasnt expecting to like this book as much as I am. its fairly normal going by how danmeis usually tend to be... the setting being germany doesn't add much to the book other than the occasional german word or phrases. it feels like any other uni danmei set in china. but its so funny and the relationship is so sweet I love it

Pray for my sanity because this will probably be the longest book I'll ever read in my entire godforsaken life. It has 4k pages and a million words🥲 so far it's really good. I'm in love with our protagonist. She's so badass🥰 (she hasn't killed anyone yet but I know she will I love her)

This is giving "uwu forbidden romance ohemgeeee" and not queer people in current times living as queer people. I didn't expect this to be the tone because in this author's other book the gay relationship was so natural and there was no "this is wrong we shouldn't be doing this we're not normal" when we are. We are normal there's nothing wrong with us
