Arrgh!! I hate it when books start out good and then go down the freaking drain like this! Leo is a fucking loser in the way he just lets people walk all over him without any hesitation at all. His boss is fucking insane and not in a good way. His wife is awful and why the hell is he still married to someone like that? And this is only two years after they got married?!
Fuck right off.

You actually think I’d believe Leo wants to—nay, BEGS to be fucked by his boss, who is a man, when he’s always been straight, just because they’re naked together? His boss is clearly insane and Leo just BEGS him to fuck him. Never done ANYTHING with a guy before, never even looked at one before and suddenly, all he wants is to be fucked by his boss, whom he’s talked to for all of three times?!

My emotions are all over the place. I can’t tell you what I think.
But one thing is for certain, this is how you write a character a reader will root for. Felix is a serial killer without any remorse and yet(!) I root for him. And I felt sorry for him during his first murder. What in the actual fuck?

Look, we all need some background story once in a while, I get that. But please, don’t mix it into the dialogues. I can’t keep up with who says what.
It’s a bit of an info dumping happening in the beginning, and yet, I feel like I haven’t been told anything.

I barely made it a few pages and I’m sick to my stomach! (I KNOW it’s not cheating if it’s consented) but I HATE it! I hated that Angelo immediately wanted Cole from first sight. Zach’s turned himself inside out for Ang in their first book and only a few months in their relationship, Ang wants to fuck other people? I’m disgusted! Truly, utterly disgusted!

So, Madison just pissed himself and Static thought now would be a good time to give him a blowie?

It started out really good, I loved Rafael’s inner monologues but then it went from 0 to 100 in like one paragraph.
It was not believable and calling this a dark romance is just bad marketing. Sure, some “dark mentions” here and there but nah.
I hate you-I want you destroy you-I wanna fuck you-I love you before we even hit 50%? Nope.

No. Fuck. I wasn’t hooked from the start. I struggled but then, the pet name? Angel? No. Absolutely not. DNF straight the fuck away. Sorry.

Ugh! I’m sorry but I can’t get into it. I think the writing is repetitive and boring. I’ve snorted a few times but that’s basically it.
Also, Chance calls Ant “beautiful” and are constantly winking at him and the fact that Chance is attracted to men somehow comes as a freaking shock to Ant?
Lexi and Jen are the same person. Boring.
How this is a 6 star read to so many, I don’t know.

My god. This one is tough to get through and I never thought I was going to say that about a Scarlett Drake book cause Oleander is my top tier!! And I really liked Limerence too but this? Uhm… it’s just… too long. Too many sex scenes. It’s a bit too insta for me too.

DNF. Just… Mason’s not just a golden retriever, he’s a whining little bitch. And Bowie, I mean, indecisive much? Also, I’m not at all for the insta anything.

Not sure how I feel about this. Miller is obviously using Ryan’s poverty, and it just feels wrong.

I am fucking inhaling this book. Holy fuck! Everything hurts, even though I read the first book and I know how that ended, this one hurts!

First of all: this wouldn’t have to be a two book story. It’s too damn long.
Secondly: Jake and Roe’s brother? What kind of fucked up shit is that? I know Roe was married at the time, but Jake knew how Roe felt for him, and then we went and “got off” with Roe’s brother?! I could not get past that. That was just wrong.

I don’t think i can do this. Charlie sleeps his way through the book and Shane carries him everywhere. I don’t even know how Shane could fall in love with Charlie, seeing as he slept all the time, only to wake up and cry. I’m sorry. I know this is a debut and I hate that I don’t like it but it’s too slow. Pages and pages of the same. “I took out the bagel, spread the eggs on it…” and so on.

My God. This is a tough one to get through.

I mean, I loved the book up to 60%, laughed out loud several times, but then…? What the hell happened? It completely went against the characters. Where did Ben’s dom side come from? Bi-awakening but also… not? Out of nowhere, he was suddenly totally comfortable sticking his dick down another man’s throat? No. Just no.
