Honestly, a very bad book so far. Though pitched as a broad overview of antitrust law, populist movements supporting it, and the state of antitrust today, the book combines too many Minnesota stories (always a politician I guess) with okay overviews of certain movements and historical figures, with blatantly wrong and misleading descriptions of antitrust law. In short, a politician’s bad and partisan writing.

Post-week 2 of book club:

Nietzche strikes again. While mostly attacking the assumptions of all philosophers before him, his approach itself sets him apart. His genealogical method is novel and solid, combining history, causation, psychology, and linguistics.

I particularly love that within 43 pages, he raised knock-down arguments against rationalism, empiricism, and my beloved devotion to truth. What’s next?
