actually losing my mind, i did not expect to enjoy this THIS MUCH

this book does a brilliant job of showing the possible complexities of mother-daughter relationships (especially mother-eldest daughter relationships), all framed by the violence and heartbreak of war ... women may not be leading armies and lifting arms in battle like this anymore, but our lives and relationships still require us to be such warriors

I am not actually reading this webtoon. I am reading different webtoon by this same author BUT GOODREADS REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT 😤😒

I hate that Goodreads picks and chooses which webtoons it counts as "real books". READING WEBTOONS COUNT AS READING TOO!!! If not then graphic novels, manga and other comic forms should not be allowed in the database. Because it's exactly the same thing. Why do we need to make the beauty of reading and enjoying stories so unnecessarily complicated? Goodreads should really learn from Storygraph in how to run itself.
