I’m struggling with this open toe sandals wearing guardian. I’m not sure if I can finish reading. Shelving this for now.

I’m going to be the slowest poke ever…. Unfortunately, I committed to reading a different book and I have to say I am having trouble focusing on it when I know a new KC book is in my library…
Slow and steady does it since KC books are precious and I really cannot get back into rereading the whole bundle of IAD again…

I'm having issues with historical inaccuracies.The Ottoman Empire being referred as Turkey and the Ottomans as Turkish (not for another 100 years!), random Turkish words (bulan!) used for want of adding misplaced mystery, and for the Turkish character to be given several different names (Anglicized) in one sentence, portrayed in an outdated and whitewashed fashion with a taste for old Hollywood.

To really appreciate the ending, one must start at the beginning. So, that's what I am doing right now.
