Wasn't joking when I said it was time to read some Foucault.

I honestly don't know why I haven't read this sooner. I love Socrates style of philosophical pursuit.

So this is a Cain and Abel retelling. I'm a but disappointed.

Going into this blind I'm getting the vibe it's a Cain and Able story.

If you don't care about Westeos history this isn't for you. However I absolutely love George R.R. Martin's indulgence.

Ngl I'm reading this because Hudson Williams recommended it.

I'm so motivated to read Steinbeck. Hopefully I'll get through all of Steinbecks novels this summer.

The first time I tried to read this I hated it (I'm Ali Hazelwoods biggest fan). Second time round my expectations are very different and I'm having a fantastic time.

I knew this was going to be good. Beyound that I knew nothing else. Truthfully it's outstanding.

Like is it rude to be thinking "you killed your wife fucking move on already." Probably.

I want to trust the process but I'm really bored. The intrigue is paper thin, constantly changing names, allegiances, and time lines confusing. I know there's good plot somewhere but I need James to get to it.

James Islington is a metaphysics wizard. Using competing metaphysically theories of time to craft his magic system and world religion.

Political philosophy. A war full of misinformation. Religious prophecies. A mysterious magic system. And now possible time travel. I am hooked.

I swear Jame Islington doesn't miss. Everything I've read from him has been awesome.

Never thought I'd make it here. This is a monumental achievement in my reading journey.

Obviously this is not the Wheel of Time but Shin is one of the most Mat Cauthon coded characters I've ever read. A headless soldier with the devils luck, talented in combat due to the gift or curse to hear voices of the dead.

Wow that was extremely stressful and traumatic. It's a miracle Rand hasn't gone insane or killed himself just to escape the torture and pain that is his existence.

Mat Cauthon commanding an army and plotting for war. 10/10 no notes. I am sat!

What I wouldn't give for a book 100% told from Mat Cauthon's POV.

Wait a fucking second. Huckslee is 1/4 black. How am I only finding this out now? I feel like a characters race and sexual orientation is important. Especially when that character is raised by a white dad, who's a religious leader in Salt Lake Utah. Having a mom who's half black feels important. It also adds an uncomfortable layer the the prom bullying scene. Outing the only gay and black couple so publicly is worse.

Fuck this book, the miscommunication, the substance abuse, the trauma, and the physical abuse. Holy shit I actually can't take it. This has officially become reading until I hate myself.

The beginning of this book is so awful that the mood shift in part two is crazy once you start liking the characters. I have a list of 17 reasons why I hate part 1 Taylor. It's disorienting to sympathize with part 2 Taylor.

Fuck me. I'm actually enjoying this. It's terrible but I'm addicted. It's like a car crash and I can't look away.

I can only get the ick so many times.

I hated part one, but I will read part two because I lack self-control.

I forgot how much I hate Taylor. My hatred is unbelievable. Wdym he broke his brothers arm? And don't get me started on the worst bullying prom stunt of all time, and the attempted drowning/sexual assault.

I have a serious motocross romance book issue. I hated Finding Delaware. It was my most hated book of 2025. However the audiobook is narrated by Alexander Cendese and I love his voice.
