What I wouldn't give for a book 100% told from Mat Cauthon's POV.

Wait a fucking second. Huckslee is 1/4 black. How am I only finding this out now? I feel like a characters race and sexual orientation is important. Especially when that character is raised by a white dad, who's a religious leader in Salt Lake Utah. Having a mom who's half black feels important. It also adds an uncomfortable layer the the prom bullying scene. Outing the only gay and black couple so publicly is worse.

Fuck this book, the miscommunication, the substance abuse, the trauma, and the physical abuse. Holy shit I actually can't take it. This has officially become reading until I hate myself.

The beginning of this book is so awful that the mood shift in part two is crazy once you start liking the characters. I have a list of 17 reasons why I hate part 1 Taylor. It's disorienting to sympathize with part 2 Taylor.

Fuck me. I'm actually enjoying this. It's terrible but I'm addicted. It's like a car crash and I can't look away.

I can only get the ick so many times.

I hated part one, but I will read part two because I lack self-control.

I forgot how much I hate Taylor. My hatred is unbelievable. Wdym he broke his brothers arm? And don't get me started on the worst bullying prom stunt of all time, and the attempted drowning/sexual assault.

I have a serious motocross romance book issue. I hated Finding Delaware. It was my most hated book of 2025. However the audiobook is narrated by Alexander Cendese and I love his voice.

Okay so I might have a rivals to lovers motocross romances problem. This is my second one in two days.... I don't even like it and yet I can't get enough.

This better be good!

Once again I am ready to hurt my own feelings. This time Jegulus will have a happy ending.

I'm worried to read this because it's the lowest rated book in the entire series. However I'm excited that this is the end of the great slog.

Perrin, Masema, Faile, and Savanna conflict. Oh lord give me patience because this plot line sucks.

So unhinged but I've come too far to dnf.

It's unbelievable how good The Wheel of Time is. Five and a half books into this series and Jordan has me hanging onto every word. The world keeps expanding. The characters keep growing. And best of all the politics are so complicated and mixed with an evolving magic system.

This is very different from the TV show adaptation. It makes me appreciate how well the show adapts the material. I enjoy the changes while perserving the heart of the story.

This book scares me, while also intriguing me. So here I go head first into what is assured to be heart break.

I'm re-reading this through a more philosophical lens. When I first read this my take away was that it was indulgent nostalgia. However, now that I'm not distracted with my own expectations of what this needs to be I'm open to the deeper political philosophy hidden within the text.

Simply put we have enough to sustain all. However, the problem lies in that we don't have enough to satisfy the rich. We will never have enough to satisfy the rich. Billionaires are the parasite killing our world, raping our planet, and draining our shared resources for their own self importance. Exploiting everyone and everything in the pursuit of something that does not exist.
