I checked it out to listen to with the kids. I am reminded how much I love this story. Intense expectations from one deemed so young. The misleading and games to elicit cooperation. The attempts to shelter while exposing poor Ender to such brutal circumstance.

I am loving this story. It’s complicated and messy and the characters have grey qualities. Scarlett is a mess which I would expect from a sheltered naive princess.
