Oh my gosh this book is so good already. I haven't HATED a book villain SO MUCH this early on in quite a while. This is incredible.

This is great so far (check content warnings). I'm listening to the audiobook through my library and it's well done

Wasn't totally hooked at 39% and dnf'd when there was a plug for a Sarah J Mass book

DNF-ing after the FMC joked about being a lesbian (she's straight) and the MMC insinuated he could "turn her". After a few other weird "not like other girl" things this was the final straw. 🙈

The social commentary in this book is fantastic. I'm loving this fantasy book. So far there isn't any romance past 2 different guys flirting with her once and I don't even care (I usually read strictly romance books)

DNFing super early... Just took a blind recommendation and didn't realize the FMC is a cop, after realizing that I read the blurb and it also involves a murder mystery. Not the cozy small town romance I was expecting. Not for me. Maybe I should start reading blurbs
