Done with Section 3. I was vibing with the romance but then something happened and now I'm just going "uh huh...uh huh..." to every scene that's supposed to build up their romance 😭 first chapter into section 4 and I still don't care about their growing relationship. I miss how things were in section 2 and the beginning of section 3 😮‍💨

finished part 2! so far part 2 is my favorite section of the book ❤️ The world building in this section didn't feel like info dumps, and the characters felt more alive ❤️❤️ extremely happy I bought this book

idk how i feel about the romantic scenes and hope it's just a crush on her end 🥲 isekai usually take a turn once the romance starts, lowkey dreading it

part 1 started off nicely, started to drag, and ended perfectly! my excitement for the book has reignited now that the story is done with the setup <3

I hate scenes that are supposed to be romantic just because the love interest was drunk enough to 1) not be able to walk to their own room and needed the FMC's help, and 2) make a confession whilst drunk 😑 gives me the ick even though nothing sexual happened

the 2nd chapter made me interested again and the rest so far is making me LOVE this story ❤️ love the characters and how fast pace everything is. so so glad my sister bought this book for me

Just got the book today and chapter 1 made me want to dnf 🥲 i had to keep reminding myself that these are adults in a work meeting and not children arguing with their teacher

there comes a point in isekai stories where my suspension of disbelief is tested 😅 everything is going too perfectly and the supposed "tough and rough" characters (mainly male) the FMC deals with aren't shown that way. way too trusting and willing to help a woman they don't know

i like how things are going. I just wish the characters outside of Maggie felt more alive. we're told who they are in the original story and their personalities but that's it. it's only been 5 chapters however, so i have high hopes that there's going to be more to fill them out <3

I've mainly read isekai webcomics, and currently reading one light novel series. It makes me so happy to read this book! I never get tired of stories like this ❤️❤️

a little disappointed that the characters are so young. Kit is 17, about to turn 18. Sharpe is around 23. I thought they were going to be in their mid-late 20s 😮‍💨 that explains why Kit reads like a teenager 😂 still a good story so far

for some reason I thought I lost access to this e-arc! idk, but I'm happy I still have access!

I bought this years ago and forgot it has a murder mystery element. taking a break on chapter 3, I like the writing style
