Oh my gosh. We are 7 chapters in now with them going back and forth and not reconciling!!! I’m not sure I can take much more.

OMG Now we are 3 months later. Ok, there has to be a reason Kristen wrote the book like this. Maybe instead of flashbacks throughout the book we are getting short glances of how Nadia came to love him.

I’m a bit disappointed. We go from Carmine running into Nadia with a plan to make her fall in love with him, dinner then they indicate something more intimate going to happen in his room. Then, bam, it’s like a week or two later and they’ve been together the entire time?!?! I feel like we missed so much! This is not what I am used to with Kristen Proby books.

Wow! I think Knox may have truly caught Aria now! So glad!!!!!!

Good gosh, Aria keeps running. I really hope that ends soon. I understand why but it’s getting a bit old.

Not much has really happened. A lot of repetitive story telling. Hoping we get into more soon.

Ohhhh my gosh! I don’t know if I can take much more of Emma’s BS. Back and forth on her feelings for Jaeden! So very annoying!!

Omg! The back and forth every chapter from past to present is getting to me! I really hope it’s not like this throughout the entire book. But I am 62% in so I’m not too hopeful.

This is so interesting. I have no idea what’s going on but it’s got me hooked!

Defiance - Man. What a story. I’m still not sure how I feel about the trafficking. I’m still mad at Viktor and Kazier. Jerks! My heart hurt. But that aside it was a very good read. I liked Freya and I’m really happy she and Viktor got their HEA!

Disbelief - What a story. We all know Death is beyond crazier than the others. I really wanted to see him find something good. That good came with Pollie! The first time he heard her play her violin was, whoa! Shocking! It was their start though. A scary, horrid one. Death was a big, scary, brutal, lethal, loves death and dead people, guy. I liked how Pollie made him feel something more than all that.

Distrust: I really enjoyed this book. Which is weird to say because these people have no regard for people’s lives. Some of them, who am I kidding, all 4 men are crazy. I did like their characters though. I like the women too. Freya and Elina are strong women. The book was written well and it keeps you interested throughout. I’m looking forward to the next story.

Ok. I’m just going to assume that Pitrov did NOT father Kazier’s father because if he did that would make Elina his cousin!!!!

Loving the book so far!!

I just cannot finish this right now. I know how it ends and I can’t make myself go through with reading it knowing I’ll be heartbroken.

I was really enjoying this book but this back and forth crap with Beth is really pissing me off. I wish she’d just stick to a damn decision already. 😡

Beth is getting on my nerves with this indecisive bull crap. JUST TELL HIM for crying out loud! 🙄

I’m only 8% in and I’m already enjoying this author’s writing. I like Gwen’s character.
