im sorry if this is a spoiler but apparently all you need to get a princess, a refugee, an actor, a street magician, a soldier, and a lawyer to invent: sous vide, pressure cooking, flambéing, ice cream, robots, automated vehicles, and roller coasters is ONE WEEK AND THE MOTIVATION TO MAKE SOMEONE THEY LIKE GET VOTED BEST RESTAURANT. This is so fucking stupid if i didn't like the rest of this series so much i'd DNF

now why would this character make the third round in this restaurant competition that shouldnt exist makes no sense and breaks every rule of logic this story has set up for itself, SOMETHING HE KNOWS THE OTHER TEAM IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE AT ??? i not only need friends to read this book series to discuss but also so i have someone to vent to about how fucking stupid it is that a quarter of this book is this stupid restaurant side plot that im sure liu will make matter but GOD I DONT CARE and the writing quality for it is soo much worse too. i genuinely don't understand what possessed him to include this. i cant suspend my disbelief for this shit
