im sorry if this is a spoiler but apparently all you need to get a princess, a refugee, an actor, a street magician, a soldier, and a lawyer to invent: sous vide, pressure cooking, flambéing, ice cream, robots, automated vehicles, and roller coasters is ONE WEEK AND THE MOTIVATION TO MAKE SOMEONE THEY LIKE GET VOTED BEST RESTAURANT. i not only need friends to read this book series to discuss but also so i have someone to vent to about how fucking stupid it is that a quarter of this book is this stupid restaurant side plot that im sure liu will make matter but GOD I DONT CARE and the writing quality for it is soo much worse too. i genuinely don't understand what possessed him to include this. i cant suspend my disbelief for this shit
