my god, reading this after already having seen the show, you can just tell the people who made the show ADORED the source material. i know i'm in 4 an emotional ride, knowing this goes more in depth 4 the characters internal conflict that was so beautifully portrayed on the show adaptation.. I wonder if this will clarify which of the 2, Marianne or Connell, I most relate 2 (though I fear I am fully a mixture of them)

to me, half this book feels like mockingjay and all the logistics and war planning and blah blah. i like the action and i like the characters, but i get so bored with the in betweens. sorryyyy

saw the movie with my best friend when we were like 12 or 13, loved it. reading it for the first time now, just finished chapter 1 and Oh. it's so much MORE than what they could convey in the movies. this is going to hurt a little.

i started this one immediately after finishing Divergent but stopped on chapter 9 a few months ago; i am going to finish re-reading it sometime soon, so i wanted to start logging it from where i left off.
