it’s gonna take me forever to read this, and under normal circumstances i’d save it for the summer, but brayden gifted it to me so it’s special and i must read it immediately. plus from the descriptions i’ve read it sounds epic so i’m looking forward to delving in

no excuse for barely reading from january until june. even over the summer i should have read more but i got a brayden which took up all my reading time. then university. i hope to read more in 2022 but no promises

it’s taking me forever to get through this book (calculus homework😡) but today is the 56th anniversary of Malcolm X’s assassination. what an incredible and captivating man. this book is amazing so far, i’m not even 2/3rds through but it’s already shaping up to be a 5/5. just yesterday his family revealed that they now have evidence implicating the FBI and NYPD in his death. may he rest in power.

maybe when physics class is over i’ll actually have time to read :’)

usually don’t like reading 2 books at once but I recently found out that this is sort of a prequel to American Psycho with Timothy Price backstory and had to read immediately.

also rereading this because it’s been a year and my opinions on the military have changed a bit so we’ll see if i still like this as much

when price has a breakdown in the middle of a club and runs off into the darkness of a railway tunnel, disappearing for the foreseeable future, only to reappear again at the end of the book with no explanation as to where he was for almost a year... i felt that
