Honestly, not feeling this very much. The concept is cool and the first few chapters were lit but now I’m not loving either main POV at all :(

OMMGG the sisters are eatingggg

siri is fucking SLAYING bitch!!!! her storyline is so fun to read about. the moaning scene had me fucking deadddd

vivenna is my girlieee i love how she's bringing her rich kid prejudices into the mix, again very fun to read about

not much on vasher but he is chapter 21 so im keen for more

lightsong is fine, i think ill like him more if he teams up with someone

vivenna is my favourite character, then it goes siri, vasher and lightsong

the dynamic between the two sisters is really fun to read, and of course vasher is a cool dude. lightsong is the ‘funny’ guy but sanderson does these all the time so a little boring

the fact the foliage around hallandren is jungle is very cool, and all the ideas surrounding colour are neat

This book started off well but I really feel like it's losing me here. Way too many side characters, and they're mostly underdeveloped. I don't remember who is who among the huge clans so it feels like it's just some goobers called Vrengar and Svelksik and I just struggle to care at all.

I can see it getting better at the end but I just don't care about a single character here.

Honestly, not feeling this as much during the middle section. Maybe it’s because I had a big break 👀 but I just don’t care about anyone right now. I’m holding out hope that the stories will EVENTUALLY come together because atm it’s just 3 separate plot-lines meandering about. Orka is cool but her story was less interesting in these chapters.

I’m actually really loving this. I enjoy her writing a lot, and it’s kind of funny how similar this is to Normal People, though I’ve only seen the show.

I thought maybe her dialogue would be jarring at first, but I'm surprised at how quickly I've come to like it.

Really enjoying these first few chapters.
